Mark every 10 stitches, rows or rounds on your projects. I like to use these 10's stitch markers on sock rounds. I add one every tenth round of the leg and foot. I then use the same count of rows on the second sock ensuring they are the same. I am sure you can think of even more uses. They are lightweight and handy. Lightbulb safety pins included.
